BW Rehoming Service

Home / About Us / BW Rehoming Service

BUNNY WONDERLAND IS A PRIVATE GROUP OF RABBIT LOVERS.

We are not supported nor funded by any government entity and hence have very limited resources. Everything we do is out of our own time, effort, pocket and passion. Our priority is to help rabbits that are in absolute danger and requires our immediate intervention. We are not set up to help owners in solving their commitment issues towards their pets.

We do understand some owners face challenges in finding their rabbits a new home. On a case by case basis, we do offer our rehoming service to sincere owners who are willing to work with us. However, we hope owners will assess their own rabbit’s condition to ensure they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Being uprooted is a very stressful ordeal and if your rabbit is very sick or of senior age (8 and above), we do not recommend rehoming them as they may not survive.

If you have considered carefully and will like to engage us in rehoming your pets, please review our TERMS & CONDITIONS below to ensure you are prepared for the process. We will not respond to unreasonable requests from owners who are obviously taking advantage of our helping hand.

BW REHOMING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. You must be the owner of the rabbit you intend to rehome.
  2. You understand that we only rehome sterilized rabbits to ensure responsible rehoming.
  3. If your rabbit is unsterilized, you will need to bring it to our recommended vet clinic for the sterilization at your own cost (typically $200 for male, $300 for female).
  4. You will be available to meet potential adopters either at our adoption drives or in your own home, under the faciliation of our BW volunteer/s.
  5. If you are unable to care for your rabbit until a new home is found, you will need to engage a fosterer, This will require a surrender fee of $150 for a healthy rabbit or $300 for an unsterilized or ill rabbit. In addition, you are required to bring your rabbit to our assigned vet clinic to handover the rabbit in the presence of our veterinarian.

IF YOU ACCEPT ALL THE ABOVE AND WISH TO ENGAGE OUR REHOMING SERVICE, PLEASE COMPLETE OUR REHOMING FORM HERE.
